Our Client is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager.

They are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help them expand their clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The person will mostly deal with corporate accounts.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.


  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  •  Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Organise and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  •  Build relationships with potential customers and industry professionals
  • Liaise with the marketing team on new offers and deals
  • Responsible for pitching sales offers and products to corporate institution
  • Prospecting and identifying new markets for company
  • Identify and grow relationships with prospects
  • Plan and prepare presentations
  • Research the identities of target market and develop offers that appeal to that market
  • Gather, interpret and utilize data on customer purchase trends
  • Conduct competitor analysis using useful quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Analyze company sales strategy against sales activities and make alterations where necessary
  • Negotiate with potential clients
  •  Prepare monthly and quarterly budget
  • Engage corporate entities on behalf of company
  • Responsible for meeting company set targets
  • Carry out responsibilities as outlined by management


  • 7 years’ experience in business development and account or brands management, especially in a B2B setting
  • Degree in marketing from an accredited university
  • Professional certificates in the field of marketing and sales will be an added advantage
