Position: Marketing / Sales Person

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Our client is looking to hire a well presented outgoing individual who will be responsible for assisting the Client’s operations partner with maintaining new business and generation of new business opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responding to queries, handling inbound sales calls – being a point of contact for various Sales, Marketing and Reporting functions
  • Contacting potential clients
  • Maintaining company files and data via CRM software – updating customer information, managing diaries, creating tasks and logging processes
  • Market mapping, identifying contacts for the sales team, making appointments for customer visits
  • Research and proposing ideas for new lead generation opportunities
  • Bringing new business on board, discovering qualified opportunities within our own database and with cold-call data, leveraging existing customer accounts
  • Building a strong working relationship with the Field Sales Team, producing quotations, documents and letters when required using MS Office software
  • Coming up with ideas to market the company successfully
  • Planning, implementing and monitoring the company’s Communication and Social Media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.
  • Assisting with promotional materials, presentations and events
